CSS vs Browser Chaos

Posted by Stephen on November 9, 2014 in Web |

You know how every browser displays web pages a little differently.  This is because each browser has its own unique set of default CSS code that it applies  to every web site unless that CSS code explicitly countermanded by the web page.  Enter a lovely bit of CSS code I just ran across called normalize.css.  You can link your web page to it and it will systematically go through and disable all the default browser CSS code for every browser.  which means that the only CSS instructions the browser has are the CSS instructions that you have created – thus, making all browsers display your website exactly the same! – pretty cool if you ask me!.  Check it out at http://nicolasgallagher.com/about-normalize-css/
